How to Measure Your Horse for a Bridle

Measuring Guide

Noseband measurement ~ Step 1

Start by measuring the circumference around your horse’s nose, about two fingers below the cheekbones, to choose the right noseband size.

Noseband measurement ~ Step 2

Measure from one corner of the mouth to the other, over the top of the head and behind the ears.

Browband measurement

To measure the browband size, measure across your horse's forehead, between the points where the browband attaches to the bridle.

Cheek Piece measurement

This is the same as: Noseband measurement ~ Step 2. Measure from one corner of the mouth to the other, over the top of the head and behind the ears.

Head circumference

This is the same as: Noseband measurement ~ Step 2. Measure from one corner of the mouth to the other, over the top of the head and behind the ears.
